After debating the elements (drizzle in LA, forecast of 20-30% rain at Joshua Tree National Park), driving 3 hours in the dark on a Saturday night through downtown LA traffic, our intrepid Webelos Den and a few members of Troop 360 braved the trek out to Indian Cove.
Clear skies greeted us as we finished our hot cocoa and smores (aka “Vitamin ‘S'”) and then clouds rolled in around 11pm as we got ready for bed.
Enjoy the attached photos and memories from our campsite where the boys and some of the adults “bouldered” and our subsequent hike to 49 Palms Oasis.
Leave no trace… take only memories.
