Based on several questions received over the last few days I would like to clarify:
• The sleep over at the museum is indoors with flush toilets just down the hall. This might be the warmest sleepover we have this year!
• Checks should be payable to “Cub Scouts Pack 360.”
Due to my office move, some payments have not reached me as fast as normal so I am extending the deadline to this Friday. If you mail your payment today or tomorrow, it will reach me in time.
The event runs from 7:30 PM Saturday January 16 through 9 AM Sunday January 17th. The Page Museum is located on Wilshire between Fairfax and La Brea and can be found online at www.tarpits.org. We plan to have three activities:
. A docent led flashlight tour of the tar pits
. Assembly of a Saber Tooth Tiger skeleton
. Create “goo” a tar-like substance to get the feel of the trapped animals
Saturday night snack and Sunday morning cereal breakfast are included. You need bring only your sleeping bag, air mattress (optional), pajamas, toiletries, t’filin and siddur; it couldn’t be easier to sleep alongside the dinosaurs!
The cost is $40 per person and there is a 40 person minimum. Payment must be received by me no later than Wednesday, January 6th. Please note my new office mailing address. Please do not delay; if we are unable to make the minimum by a week from Wednesday, the event will have to be cancelled. Siblings aged 6 and over are invited as are parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.
